A key factor in Trump’s rising support, as Morris explained, is the dramatic shift in demographic voting patterns, especially among Black and Latino voters. In the 2020 election, Biden had a substantial lead among these groups, but recent trends indicate an outstanding reversal.
Trump has reportedly flipped his position among Latino voters, moving from a 21-point deficit to an 11-point lead. While Biden had previously won the Black vote by a vast margin, Trump has made remarkable gains, reducing the gap to just ten points, according to the latest polls.
Morris mentioned that Trump’s support among Black voters, which was 8% in 2020, has purportedly surged to 39% in recent polling. Although Morris himself expressed some skepticism about the exactitude of this figure, he underscored the remarkable nature of such a shift.
