Allies of Donald Trump are gearing up to release an online documentary just two days after the commencement of jury selection in the former president’s New York City criminal trial, which involves charges of falsifying business documents.
The creators of “Chasing Trump” assert that the film delves into the prosecutors’ backgrounds in each of the former president’s four criminal trials. They argue that the documentary illustrates how these prosecutors leverage their positions to mount attacks against him. This information was revealed in a release to Newsmax regarding the project.
Scheduled to debut on April 17, the documentary will be available for free viewing on the conservative website American Greatness and various streaming platforms like X, YouTube, and Rumble.

Donald Trump Jr., the former president’s eldest son, expressed the consequences of “Chasing Trump” in a statement to Newsmax. He emphasized the documentary’s exploration of the prosecutors behind the four cases against his father, portraying it as essential viewing for anyone concerned with upholding the rule of law and safeguarding constitutional rights.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Heads the Prosecution
The upcoming trial, the first among Trump’s criminal cases to proceed to court, revolves around accusations of falsifying business records to conceal payments to former adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Trump, who is the presumptive 2024 GOP nominee, has vehemently denied all 34 charges leveled against him, as well as any involvement in an affair with Daniels.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, leading the prosecution, is a focal point of “Chasing Trump,” alongside Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, Special Counsel Jack Smith, and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
A trailer for the documentary, shared on X by Republican strategist Andrew Surabian, portrays the prosecutors as politically motivated figures engaging in actions aimed at influencing the 2024 election under the guise of upholding the law. Willis has filed election fraud charges against Trump in Georgia, while Smith is overseeing the case involving classified documents in Florida.

James secured a $454 million civil settlement earlier this year against Trump on allegations of fraudulently inflating his net worth. Judge Juan Merchan, presiding over next week’s business records case in Manhattan, has implemented a gag order preventing Trump from asserting that he is the target of a witch hunt.
“Chasing Trump” marks the inaugural installment in a series of videos produced by American Greatness. Curt Mercadante, the managing editor of American Greatness, suggests that the documentary will challenge the perception of the legal system as impartial.
At the same time, Mike Davis, founder of the Article III Project, condemns the prosecutions against Trump as partisan political maneuvers masquerading as the rule of law. “‘Chasing Trump’ reveals the leftwing prosecutors behind these cases as mere instruments for Joe Biden and his political apparatus,” Davis remarked.
