The latest polling data paints a tight race between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
According to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s average of 658 polls, both candidates are deadlocked at 45.1%. This marks an outstanding shift from previous months, where Trump had maintained a lead over Biden since September of the previous year.
Biden’s recent campaigning efforts across Pennsylvania, where he called for higher taxes on the wealthy, coincide with the tightening race.

Despite Trump’s lead in certain swing states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, Biden’s team has intensified organizing efforts in key battlegrounds like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
The inclusion of Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in polling narrows Trump’s lead slightly, with the former president maintaining a slim 0.5 percentage point advantage over Biden.
