During Friday’s court proceedings, Susan Necheles, Donald Trump’s attorney, hinted that he was acquainted with Stormy Daniels due to her potential involvement in “The Celebrity Apprentice.”
This trial involves Trump facing 34 charges related to false statements regarding hush money paid to his alleged mistress. Testimony continued with former Trump assistant Rhona Graff taking the stand.

Necheles questioned Graff about Daniels and Karen McDougal, both of whom Graff had listed in the Trump Organization’s computer system. Necheles suggested that Trump’s knowledge of Daniels stemmed from her possible consideration for his TV show.
Necheles asked Graff if Trump thought Daniels would be an interesting addition to “The Apprentice.” Graff confirmed that such conversations occurred within the office. Graff vaguely remembered seeing Daniels in the Trump Tower lobby and acknowledged knowing that Daniels was a porn actress.

Reportedly, Daniels was not under consideration for “The Celebrity Apprentice” until 2007, a year after her alleged affair with Trump. Despite discussions, she never appeared on the show.
Necheles aims to argue that Trump’s payments to Daniels were not wrongful, attempting to reconcile this with Trump’s denial of an affair. The trial will resume on Monday after testimony from David Pecker, former National Enquirer publisher, Graff, and banker Gary Farro earlier in the week.
