Michigan State Police have discovered human remains in connection with the disappearance of Dee Warner, a 52-year-old Michigan woman who has been missing since April 2021. The remains were found on a Lenawee County property owned by her husband, Dale Warner, who was previously arrested and charged with open murder and tampering with evidence in connection with her case.
The authorities recovered the remains during the execution of a search warrant on the property. Michigan State Police stated that extensive testing and analysis would be required to positively identify the remains, though Dee Warner’s family has been informed of the discovery.
The remains were reportedly found in a tank that holds anhydrous ammonia on the property, as confirmed by a family spokesperson. This discovery comes more than two years after Dee Warner was last seen on April 25, 2021, at her home in Lenawee County.
Dee Warner’s daughter, Rikkell Bock, expressed her grief and relief over the discovery, describing the moment as surreal. She took to social media to share her emotions and vowed that the family would continue fighting for justice for her mother.
While the discovery brings some closure, the family remains determined to seek justice. Dee Warner’s family, friends, and the authorities now await the results of further investigations to confirm the remains’ identity and bring resolution to this long-standing mystery.
