Disneyland’s entry-level ticket will remain at $104, the same price it has been for six years. However, other ticket tiers, which vary based on demand, will experience price increases ranging from $7 to $12. This represents a rise of 5.9% to 6.5%.

Alongside these adjustments, the Magic Key annual pass prices will also see hikes between 6% and 20%, which translates to increases of $100 to $125, depending on the type of pass. These changes were announced on Wednesday and reflect the company’s ongoing efforts to manage the demand for park admissions.

These new price hikes come at a time when Disney has been facing scrutiny for the rising cost of its theme park experiences, including tickets and hotel accommodations. Many consumers have expressed concerns that Disney’s offerings have become prohibitively expensive.

Nevertheless, the company continues to introduce promotional offers to mitigate these concerns, such as discounted tickets and hotel stays for those who visit Disneyland during off-peak times. For instance, Disney recently announced a $50 kids’ ticket deal available starting in October, valid for visits beginning in January.

Disney also emphasizes that its pricing structure is designed to accommodate a wide range of budgets, offering various ticket, dining, and hotel options throughout the year.

Jessica Good, a Disneyland Resort spokesperson, highlighted that these options are intended to make the park accessible to as many families as possible. In addition to standard pricing, the company offers promotional discounts to attract visitors during less busy periods, with potential savings on both park tickets and hotel stays.

Like other industries such as airlines and hotels, Disney uses a demand-based pricing model for its theme parks. This means that prices increase during peak times when demand is high, such as around major holidays and school vacation periods.

Conversely, during off-peak months like January and February, the company offers lower-priced options. For example, a family of four—two adults and two children—could visit the park for just $308 during these months, with discounts on both adult and children’s tickets.

The tiered ticket system at Disneyland includes six levels, with the base ticket priced at $104 under Tier 0. At the top, Tier 6 tickets, which are for peak demand times, will see an increase of $12, reaching $206 per ticket. The Magic Key annual pass program also follows this demand-based pricing, with four different tiers ranging from $599 to $1,749.

Each tier offers different levels of park access and perks, including early entry to select attractions and discounts on merchandise and dining. Notably, Disney has not announced similar price increases for its Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, although ticket prices for 2025 were previously adjusted earlier this year.
