A Brightline train collided with a fire truck on Saturday morning in Delray Beach, Florida, leaving 15 individuals injured, including three firefighters and 12 train passengers. The crash took place around 10:45 a.m. near the intersection of East Atlantic Avenue and Railroad Avenue while the fire truck was on its way to an emergency call.
The injured firefighters were transported to a local hospital. While two of them were initially in critical condition, their statuses have since stabilized. The 12 train passengers who suffered minor injuries were also treated at a hospital, with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue assisting in their transportation. Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported.
