Alec John Such was born on 14th November 1951 in Yonkers, New York in The United States as Alexander John Such. He completed his school and graduated from America. He was introduced to Jon Bon Jovi in the early 1980s while he was working at a music venue in New Jersey. After his meeting with Bon Jovi, he started playing for the band officially in 1983. Before teaming up with Bon Jovi, Such was associated with the band Phantom’s Opera. He was also associated with the 9the band and its co-founding members.

His dismissal in 1994 was a reaction by several members to Such’s “unprofessionalism” and how he leaked personal statements about the band at several press events.
