Guns ‘N Rose colliding Duff McKagan and his wife Susan Holmes is finally talking openly about their 22-year marriage’s biggest secret after marriage in 1999. Duff McKagan recently admitted in an interview that he could not get enough of Susan.

Who is Duff McKagan?
The American singer Michael Andrew “Duff” McKagan, better known by his stage name Duff “Rose,” was born on February 5, 1964. He played bass for the hard rock band Guns N’ Roses for twelve years, during which time he rose to recognition on a global scale in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Following their 2016 initiation into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, McKagan re-joined the group. McKagan created the short-lived ensemble Neurotic Outsiders, and Believe in Me, a solo album, was published (1993) during the close of his first run with Guns N’ Roses.
After leaving Guns N’ Roses in 1997, McKagan briefly reformed his previously successful Seattle punk band 10 Minute Warning before launching the still-active hard rock group Loaded, where he plays rhythm and lead guitar. He joined former Guns N’ Roses bandmates Slash and Matt Sorum in the supergroup Velvet Revolver from 2002 to 2008.
In 2010 with Jane’s Addiction, Alice in Chains in 2006, and Hollywood Vampires in 2016, he briefly shared the stage with them. He has also contributed to several short-lived bands, including Walking Papers and Levee Walkers, along with fellow Seattle locals Mike McCready (well-known for his work with Pearl Jam) and Barrett Martin (formerly of Screaming Trees). McKagan’s literary career is prosperous in addition to his musical one. He founded the asset management firm Meridian Rock.

The marriage of Duff McKagan and Susan Holmes McKagan is like visiting “Paradise City.” The Guns ‘N Roses bassist and the Velvet Rose novelist share their strategies for maintaining a happy marriage, yet when Duff is on tour with the rock group in an interview.
One can never have a bad day with Duff, she said. She will improve a person’s day if they have a bad one. He also added that he adores every aspect of her. They have each other’s backs and a great love life. As they say these days, it’s ride or dies for them.
Susan continues that their union is wonderfully balanced. Just being aware of and respecting one another’s professional endeavors. It is dance. They genuinely enjoy being around each other. Duff remarks with a chuckle that with COVID, people may now Netflix and unwind. Before adding that, they are into keeping it romantic. There is still some magic in their union. He still doesn’t understand her.
Seattle residents Duff and Susan were married in 1999 after going on a blind date four years earlier; Duff believes their union was fated. Grace, 24 years old, and Mae, 21, are their shared daughters. Duff, according to her, is the most incredible, utterly lovely husband and parent. He’s a girl’s father. He is such a fantastic parent to girls.
Even though their girls are now older, they still have a heart for little ones. After the interview, Duff revealed they would watch a friend’s 6-year-old daughter. Susan says they enjoy having tea together and attending rock concerts, notably LCD Soundsystem, which she refers to as their “family band,” while spending time with Mae and Grace.
Grace and the couple visited Disneyland last week. They are less humiliated by us, Susan claims. We’re incredibly close, and I love our girls so much. Mae works as both a part-time model and a full-time student (with, as Susan notes, “excellent grades”).
Grace recently made available her track, “One You Love.” She is also pursuing her certification as a CorePower Yoga teacher. (Duff explains that she is currently undergoing rigorous yoga training. I believe she needs to work 500 hours.)
The girls, according to Duff, truly admire Susan. He believes that they can tell that they are in love because they are a married pair. He is confident they have seen them resolve issues as they have grown older and can now say, “Ok, this is like a strong partnership.”
And he believes they strive for that. The pair enjoys having date nights when Duff is at home. They occasionally take a boat to supper or watch a great old movie at home because they live near a lake.
And Susan ensures she doesn’t miss seeing her husband while he’s on the road with the Axl Rose-fronted band. Susan that she makes sure they see the most incredible, possibly obscure, wacky sights and activities.
Susan continues by saying that they visited the Amsterdam Museum of Torture. Who attends it or is aware of that, for example? That was a flirty, enjoyable date. With a wink, Duff continues, “There’s nothing wrong with it either.” After spending so much time together, Susan claims the couple has discovered that true love is unconditional.
He adores Sue, the unglamorous Sue, even when they wake up with foul breath. She assumes they need to be updated in many ways. Duff continues, “There was something more when they met, and she recognized that she was going to adore her.” Aware of it, she After four weeks passed, she realized that he had fallen deeply and passionately in love.
He does not subscribe to hippie woo-woo, yet there is an aura of an old soul about their meeting. When they first met, he sensed that they were timeless. The word is timeless. The pair are spending a lot of time alone now that they are empty nesters.
Susan claims that since they left the house, they enjoy themselves more. Of course, in the most excellent possible way, they mean that. She continues by adding that she also means having a good time having sex.
