Talking about Marren Morris, the Texas native is 33 years old as of this year. She was born in the small town of Arlington in Texas but later relocated to the music heaven, Nashville. It’s not a surprise that she has been winning the hearts of people with her voice ever since she was a child.
When Marren’s father bought her a guitar at the age of twelve, she started writing songs and got serious about her musical career. She released her first studio album in 2016, which was titled Hero. And it is safe to say that the album lived up to its name. The album was a blend of R&B and country genres. One of the most groundbreaking songs of the album was none other than My Church.
Marren Morris has also collaborated with artists like Grey and Zedd on the song The Middle. Later, she dropped another banger with her album Girl in 2019. Marren is a country legend, and this has been supported by the plethora of awards that she has by her name, including a Grammy Award, American Music Award, and Academy of Country Music Award.

Unfortunately, Marren Morris has been associated with some controversies in the past year. Her last year, she had a public argument and conflict with Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean. She recently released her two-track EP, The Bridge, and revealed that she is done with country music.
In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, Marren said, “I thought I’d like to burn it to the ground and start over, but it’s burning itself down without my help.” She felt that certain aspects of the music did not make her happy anymore and thought that the mature thing to do was to walk away.
Marren Morris had a feud with Brittany Aldean on X, which was known as Twitter at that time. Brittany allegedly made a transphobic comment, and the singer decided to revert back by calling her an “Insurrection Barbie.”
Marren got deep into the issues that country singers have to face. In an interview, she had said, “…The further you get into the country music business, that’s when you start to see the cracks. And once you see it, you can’t un-see it. So you start doing everything you can with the little power you have to make things better.”
Marren Morris has always stood up for herself and others who have needed help. She doesn’t hide herself and never shies away from talking about things that are wrong and matters that are often considered sensitive. She is upfront with her views on topics of misogyny and racism.
