In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, Marren said, “I thought I’d like to burn it to the ground and start over, but it’s burning itself down without my help.” She felt that certain aspects of the music did not make her happy anymore and thought that the mature thing to do was to walk away.
Marren Morris had a feud with Brittany Aldean on X, which was known as Twitter at that time. Brittany allegedly made a transphobic comment, and the singer decided to revert back by calling her an “Insurrection Barbie.”
Marren got deep into the issues that country singers have to face. In an interview, she had said, “…The further you get into the country music business, that’s when you start to see the cracks. And once you see it, you can’t un-see it. So you start doing everything you can with the little power you have to make things better.”
