Tulsi Gabbard Endorses Trump for 2024 Presidential Run After Leaving Democratic Party

Tulsi Gabbard Former United States Representative

Ex Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who departed from the Democratic Party in 2022, declared her support for former President Trump in the upcoming election. On Monday, during an event in Michigan organized by the National Guard Association where Trump was present, Gabbard made her endorsement official.

She voiced concerns over the current administration’s handling of global conflicts, emphasizing that the nation is now facing the most critical threat of nuclear war in history. Gabbard explained that this was a key motivator for her commitment to helping Trump return to the White House and resume his role as commander-in-chief.

After her unsuccessful run in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, Gabbard left Congress and distanced herself from the Democratic Party. In the time since, she has become a fixture in conservative media, frequently attending right-leaning events like the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Recently, Gabbard has been working closely with Trump as he prepares for his debate against Vice President Harris, who has been nominated as the Democratic presidential candidate. Gabbard gained attention in 2020 when she confronted Harris on her record as a prosecutor during a debate.

Her endorsement came shortly after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his independent campaign and threw his support behind Trump, a move that has been touted as a major boost for Trump’s campaign in key battleground states.
