Robert F. Kennedy Jr. American Politician

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been removed from the South Carolina presidential ballot, as confirmed by the state’s Election Commission. The Alliance Party of South Carolina announced that its executive committee decided to withdraw Kennedy’s nomination late Monday.

According to the party’s Chair, Keisha Long, the move reflects the party’s commitment to offering voters an alternative to the mainstream Democratic and Republican options. Long emphasized that the Alliance Party’s goal is to provide choices beyond the traditional two-party system, underscoring their dedication to presenting candidates who embody their principles.

The Alliance Party drops Kennedy from South Carolina ballot to offer voters a third-party choice

Kennedy’s withdrawal from the South Carolina ballot follows his recent decision to end his campaign and endorse former President Trump. He stated that his name would continue to appear on ballots in states with strong partisan affiliations but would be excluded from critical swing states.

Long pointed out that a substantial majority of Americans—71%—desire a viable third-party choice. She reiterated the party’s resolve to meet this demand with candidates who are committed to their vision and goals.

Kennedy’s shift in allegiance was further highlighted by his participation in a rally with Trump in Arizona, where Trump lauded Kennedy as a steadfast supporter of shared values. This endorsement marks an alignment with Trump’s political stance.
