Meghan McCain, who once co-hosted ABC’s “The View,” has voiced her disapproval of the show for lacking a conservative perspective that aligns with President-elect Trump following his victory.
In a Friday post, she expressed frustration, stating, “Respectfully, please stop sending me clips from The View. It’s a radical progressive insane asylum and that is why I left years ago.”
Recently, Sara Haines, another current co-host, criticized the Democratic Party for its tone and approach towards voters. She suggested that Democrats should take a moment to reflect on why so many supported Trump in the 2024 election.
In a clip from Friday, Haines remarked, “It’s condescending, the way that the left speaks to its voters.” Thursday’s show saw co-host Sunny Hostin voice her disappointment with the election results.
McCain further argued that the show fails to adequately represent conservative women. Alyssa Farah Griffin, the show’s lone conservative host, revealed she voted for Vice President Harris in this election.
McCain took to X in a post on Wednesday, stating, “It is actual malfeasance on the part of ABC News that there isn’t one single conservative woman on The View this morning who voted for Trump or simply isn’t repulsed by his supporters to explain to America why he is still so popular.”
