In invitations sent to donors, Democratic National Committee (DNC) finance directors Michael Pratt and Colleen Coffey expressed gratitude for the donors’ support, noting that Harris and Walz look forward to reconnecting and showing appreciation for their partnership.
During the campaign, Harris’s team shattered fundraising records, amassing over $1 billion in just three months. However, following the defeat, questions have been raised about the campaign’s financial management, particularly with reports of a $20 million debt.
Patrick Stauffer, the campaign’s chief financial officer, recently addressed these concerns, asserting that as of Election Day, no debts or overdue bills remained, and there would be no reported debt on filings for the post-general report.
