During an interview with Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade on Saturday, Hulk Hogan hinted that President-elect Trump could offer him a position in his upcoming administration. Recalling a conversation from October at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally, Hogan shared that Trump seemed open to the idea of him joining the administration in a meaningful capacity.
Hogan mentioned that during their discussion at the rally, Trump suggested he would be well-suited to lead the President’s Council on Physical Fitness. “My president said, ‘You know something, you’d be great to run the President’s Council on Physical Fitness,’” Hogan recounted.
The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition is a federal advisory panel that promotes healthy living and physical activity. President Biden extended the council’s operation through September 30, 2025.
Hogan explained that the suggestion came after a conversation about nutrition and physical fitness. “After the rally, we were talking about Robert Kennedy, nutrition, and how many foreign countries won’t even allow their people to eat the same food we eat here in America. It’s so bad, and it’s poisoned a generation of kids. Then we started talking about physical fitness,” Hogan shared.
These comments from Hogan follow Trump’s recent decision to appoint anti-vaccine advocate and environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), a move that has raised concerns among public health experts about the potential for increased vaccine skepticism and change in government priorities.
As a strong Trump supporter, Hogan had previously spoken at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in July, where he was a crowd favorite, earning some of the loudest applause of the event.
