Paula Pogba leaves Man Utd for the second time in his career. In his early years, he was a part of the club’s youth system. However, Juve signed him for free in 2012. But, he came back to Utd in 2016 under a new coach. He remains the record transfer for any player in the club’s history.
The move promised big things for the future. But, things did not go to plan. Pogba never settled in a Utd team. His exit from the club was a matter of when and not if. However, with a statement from the club, Pogba officially leaves Utd. Notably, this marks the second time he leaves the club for free.
The club has also confirmed the exit of two other players. Cavani has left after his 2-year stint at the club. He joined from French club PSG as a free agent in 2020. His displays have made him a fan favorite in his short time at the club. Elsewhere, Jesse Lingard has left his boyhood club. The Englishman rose through the ranks at Utd. However, a dip in form led to less game time. He leaves the club after nearly 20 years.

Pogba came to Utd in 2016. It was a return that created a frenzy. Also, PogBack started trending on Twitter. He followed it up with an impressive first season. Besides, he won three trophies in his first year. But he was deployed in a number of positions in the team. It was a sign of things to come. Pogba never found a fixed role to play. Also, he was called out for his lack of work rate. Soon it became clear that the partnership might come to an end.

Lingard and Cavani showed the exit!
Jesse Lingard will not extend his stay at Utd. He will bring an end to his 20-year association with the club. His highest moment at Utd came at the 2016 FA Cup final. He scored the winning goal for his boyhood club. Moreover, it remains his biggest trophy with the club.
Cavani is the other player to leave. He displayed good service to the club. Furthermore, his wonder goal against Fulham will live in fond memories.
