Ruth Dodsworth, the ITV presenter, spoke out this Thursday on Good Morning Britain about:
her ex-coercive husband’s control over her for nine years.
she said: “This is a man I spent 20 years of my life with. He’s the father of my children and here I am effectively sending him to prison.”
She added: “A man who to the best of my knowledge has shown no remorse.”
Jonathan Wignall was sentenced to three years in prison last April after pleading guilty to stalking and coercive control.
Ms. Dodsworth, on the new show, discusses how it took her years to realize that Wignall’s behavior wasn’t normal.
